The new president of Entrepreneurs’ Organization - South Florida (EOSOFLO), Jason Loeb, says innovation, collaboration and unity are key for area businesses and the overall economy to survive then thrive through the historic Covid-19 health and economic crisis.

Loeb begins his two-year term this month to lead the group with about 200 members who run companies reporting more than $2 billion in annual revenues and 10,000 employees in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. The organization is one of the largest EO chapters in the world.

“Finding creative solutions and supporting one another have always been core principles of EO SOFLO and our mission to foster South Florida’s entrepreneurial ecosystemship,” said Loeb, who founded Sudsies Dry Cleaners & Laundry in 1998. A pioneer in the pick-up and delivery dry cleaning business, as well as in environmentally-friendly cleaning techniques, Loeb grew the company from a small local business into a successful regionwide operation with a fleet of 35 vehicles serving Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, as well as four boutique brick and mortar locations. “These principles are especially important today while so many businesses have been hit so hard by the pandemic.”

Loeb succeeds Jerry Katz of Premier Protection Insurance as president of EO SOFLO.

Steven Kozlowski of Kozlowski Law Firm PA; Elizabeth Manso of Brigade Bookkeeping; David Tuaty of POGGESI USA;Wendy Lieber of ContentBacon;Jason Bowen of Consumer Information Bureau; David Lekach, founder and former CEO of Dreamwater; Lillian Roberts of Xendoo;Jason Silver of CTI Consulting; Darren Seys of Peak Seven;Anthony Pace of Lindberg & Ripple; Ben Marks of Leveraged Equity Holdings Group; Gaby Thierer of The Corporate Graphic Center; and Jay Jacob of Community Capital Holdings.

“Jerry did a great job in boosting our chapter as an economic powerhouse in South Florida,” Loeb said. “I look forward to using that momentum and teaming with our new board to find success in these very special circumstances.”

Loeb understands first-hand how the pandemic has dramatically hit local businesses. With most celebrations and large gatherings curtailed, as well as corporate employees working from home, his company’s dry cleaning revenues have been cut by more than half since the start of the pandemic.

“It’s tough for so many of us, but having innovative co-members who can share their experiences and challenges in good times and bad is truly is a great resource,” he said. “This unity is a great support system professionally, financially and emotionally.”

For members and the community, EO SOFLO launched the “You Are Not Alone” initiative to help area businesses adapt to the Covid-19 crisis, including free interactive webinars hosted by some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs. In addition, EO SOFLO members and local strategic alliance partners are providing operational and financial tips, services, advice and other valuable resources. Coming out of the pandemic, Loeb plans new and enhanced EO SOFLO programs to help member companies with their unique challenges and prospoer at every different stage of the business lifecyle.

“We’re going to get through this, our South Florida economy and entrepreneur community will bounce back even better than ever, like we always do,” Loeb said. “Hurricanes, real estate crashes or pandemics, we’ll be fine if we work together.”
