Gulfstream Park Village’s Retailers and Restaurants Begin Public Re-Openings, While Many Also Continue Curbside Pickup & Delivery Options

Following Governor Ron DeSantis’ directive to open non-essential businesses to the public, Gulfstream Park Village, an open-air lifestyle entertainment, shopping and dining destination, today announced that its stores and restaurants will reopen for business beginning Monday, May 18.

Gulfstream Park Village has options for the whole family to enjoy while also practicing social distancing. While stores and restaurants will offer in-person shopping and dining, many of them will continue to provide curbside or delivery services as well. For a regularly updated list of open retailers and restaurants, visit www.gulfstreampark.com.

Gulfstream Park Village also announced today that it is lighting up the Village “center” in blue, as well as installing blue track lighting along the Biscayne Boulevard pylon signs, in honor of first responders. “We at Gulfstream Park are honored to show our gratitude for first responders - those who are here for us during COVID-19 and every day,” said Alex Schreer, director of Experiential Marketing for Madison Marquette, who represents Gulfstream Park Village.

“Gulfstream Park Village looks forward to getting our retailers and restaurants back open for business to reconnect with our guests,” says Alan Shaw, Senior Vice President of 1/ST Properties, the owner of Gulfstream Park. “We know that people are anxious and ready to get back to enjoying all that is offered at Gulfstream Park Village and trust everyone will be responsible and respectful of one another as they enjoy our beautiful open-air shopping center.”

“We want everyone to know that we have taken significant precautions to safeguard the health of our visitors and employees, which is, of course, our No. 1 priority as we re-open for business,” said Schreer. “We have an entire task force of people who have worked diligently around the clock, taking into account the best practices recommended by national experts like the CDC, as well as our state and local health care officials, to determine the appropriate steps to make Gulfstream Park Village a place where guests feel comfortable venturing back into public and reconnecting with friends and family.”

Horse racing continues Thursday through Sunday without spectators. Gulfstream Park Racetrack encourages you to watch the races live at 1stbet.com or watch and wager on either the 1/STbet or Xpressbet apps.

Updated Policies & Procedures

Relying on the expertise of local health care and government authorities, Gulfstream Park Village has implemented a number of important policies and procedures to safeguard the health and well-being of its valued guests and employees, including:

  • New curbside pickup for retailers located at both the North and South Valet and on Derby Lane. Dedicated pickup spaces available.
  • Touchless door handles in all restrooms
  • Healthy Shopper Guidelines posted throughout the Village
  • The addition of signage at elevators, restrooms and office buildings to remind visitors of the importance of continuing to practice social distancing and staying a minimum of 6 feet from others while they shop and eat
  • The addition of signage at each restroom reminding visitors of the importance of frequent and thorough hand washing
  • Expanded seating areas for restaurants including Christine Lee’s, Yard House and Pastry is Art
  • Open door policy for most retailers with fewer touch points for all guests
  • Shopping center employees will be wearing face coverings to ensure the health and safety of guests
  • The Village Center Green Space is temporarily closed for the health and safety of guests
  • Significant upgrades - made during the past two months - include select garage painting, reserved parking for retail and restaurants in the garage, all fountains resurfaced, common area landscaping and tree shaping, better wayfinding throughout the Village, and concluding the $17 million clubhouse upgrade at the racetrack-casino
  • Increased schedule for the frequent cleaning and disinfection of high-touch common areas, including door handles, handrails, restrooms, elevators, and more

These policies and procedures have been implemented throughout the common areas of Gulfstream Park Village. Individual retailers and restaurants are responsible for implementing their own policies and procedures, but have been asked to follow similarly stringent protocols to ensure the safety of each guest and employee.
