Association of Poinciana Villages to Host 27th Annual Christmas Parade

11/17/19

The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) will once again spread holiday cheer with a spectacular holiday celebration to wrap up 2019. The 27th Annual Christmas Parade and Holiday Celebration will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Amphitheater at Vance Harmon Park, located at 695 Country Club Drive in Poinciana.

This family-friendly event is free for APV residents and the public to enjoy. The festivities begin at 11 a.m. with a grand parade featuring more than 50 floats and participants making their way from Cypress Parkway to Vance Harmon Park. Immediately following the parade we will start the can’t-miss Holiday Celebration at the Vance Harmon Park Amphitheater, complete with food trucks, bounce houses, face painters, balloon artists, vendors and live music, including a battle of the bands featuring local high school musicians.

Back by popular demand, there will also be an opportunity to have your picture taken with the Master of Ceremonies himself...Santa Claus!

“This annual event is a favorite not only for our residents but also our staff members and local businesses. It’s incredible to see so many people come together in the spirit of the holidays,” said Mark Maldonado, APV General Manager. “If you haven’t attended, this is a perfect time to start. And, even if you have, we have some wonderful new things planned for this year.”

Residents and area- businesses are invited to participate by entering a float for the parade or participating as a vendor at the Holiday Celebration. APV is also looking for sponsors, vendors, battle of the bands contestants and volunteers. As this is one of the association’s largest events of the year, it is a wonderful opportunity to get in front of Poinciana residents and introduce your company or services to the community.

“The generosity and support of our amazing sponsors and volunteers enables us to continue to provide these events at no cost to attendees year after year,” Maldonado said.

As always, the community thanks its Corporate Platinum Sponsors, Badcock Home Furniture & More Kissimmee, Yanira Suarez New Homes Team; Corporate Gold Sponsors: Florida Medicare Options, Poinciana Medical Center, IMA Medical Group, Valencia College; Contributing Sponsors: First Service Residential and Larsen and Associates.
