Broward Education Foundation Inducts Eight Exemplary Business Leaders and Educators into 2019 Hall of Fame

Doug Harrison, Henri W. Crockett, Juliette Lippman, Michelle Kefford, Rep. Patricia H. Williams, Randall Deich, Ralph A. Aiello, III

Former professional football players, a Florida State Representative and the past president of the Florida Bar Foundation were among the distinguished alumni of Broward County Public Schools recently inducted into Broward Education Foundation’s Hall of Fame during the Publix Super Markets Charities 2019 “Hall of Fame Breakfast” presented by Memorial Healthcare System.

Receiving the JM Family Enterprises, Inc. Youth Impact Awardfor their positive impression on thousands of children’s lives were two Blanche Ely High School graduates:

  • Henri W. Crockett, founder and president of Crockett Foundation, Inc., class of 1992, former Minnesota Vikings football star
  • Zack Crockett, vice president of Crockett Foundation, Inc., class of 1990, former football star and current southeast area scout for the Oakland Raiders


Those honored with the Bank of America Community Achievement Award for their dedication to the community were:

  • Douglas Harrison, City of Miami Senior Assistant City Attorney and a graduate of the Cooper City High School ‘87
  • Juliette Lippman,attorney with Birnbaum, Lippman & Gregoire, PLLC, immediate past president of The Florida Bar Foundation and member of the class of 1986 at Coconut Creek High School
  • Rep. Patricia H. Williams, Florida State House Representative, District 92 and graduate of Blanche Ely High School ‘83


The three honorees who received the Office Depot Education Achievement Award for their dedication to a career in public education were:

  • Ralph A. Aiello, III, Director of School Counseling & BRACE Advisement for Broward County Public Schools and graduate of Western High School ‘95
  • Randall Deich, computer science teacher and STEM coordinator at Lauderhill 6-12 STEM-MED and member of the class of 1986 at Nova High School
  • Michelle Kefford, principal of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and South Plantation High School ‘92 graduate


The names of honorees are forever etched on granite stars lining the BrightStar Credit Union “Walk of Fame” outside of the Broward County Public Schools District Office.

Broward Education Foundation was awarded the 2018 President’s Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Fort Lauderdale/Broward Chapter for these fundraising efforts.
