Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty’s Connie Cabral today announced the $5.1 million sale of a waterfront residence in the Treasure Island enclave of Miami’s North Bay Village neighborhood. Cabral, who recently joined the BHHS EWM Realty family, had listed the property with her previous brokerage, Florida Realty, which is a sister company of BHHS EWM Realty through its parent network, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.

The transaction of the contemporary manse, 1520 South Treasure Drive, has set a new benchmark for the neighborhood, ranking as the area’s highest-priced sale to date.

From its postcard-worthy setting overlooking Biscayne Bay and the downtown Miami skyline, the two-story residence features five bedrooms and five and a half baths on a 15,000-square-foot lot -- along with 100 feet of waterfront and a private dock. The Treasure Island enclave is one of the most sought-after addresses in the area, regarded for its privacy and convenient location, which is just minutes from Bal Harbour, Canyon Ranch, and South Beach.

The average ‘days on market’ of sold homes in the North Bay Village community is approximately 400. Cabral secured a contract on this particular listing in just 19 days.

“Today’s sale is yet another example of how a deep-rooted understanding of the market, coupled with an eye for design and detail, are a winning combination in our fast-paced luxury sector,” said Cabral.

This latest record-breaking transaction exemplifies Cabral’s abilities to assess a property’s qualities and values, thereby determining how best to market it to the most discerning homebuyers.

Built in 2012 and designed with a focus on indoor-outdoor living, the estate is marked by floor-to-ceiling windows and sprawling light-filled spaces. The backyard -- likened to a resort-style oasis – boasts a heated saltwater infinity-edge pool as well as a spa, summer kitchen, and fire pit. Additional standout amenities include a home theater, Crestron Smart Home system, full-house generator, three-car garage with a car lift, and impact windows and doors throughout.

Cabral assisted the seller in the transaction through Florida Realty, while the buyer was assisted by Heather Zibelli of Keller Williams Realty.

Known as a “Power Player” throughout the industry, Cabral consistently ranks as one of the top 1% of agents within Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ national network. Known for consistently setting real estate records, she is a five-time BHHS Platinum awardee and a three-time Diamond awardee -- the highest rankings given to BHHS agents. She was also the recipient of the company’s prestigious Legend Award in 2017.

Cabral, who is based in BHHS EWM Realty’s Aventura office, has been featured on various shows with HGTV and CBS Miami, sharing extensive insight about the South Florida market and its most luxurious lifestyles.

“We were thrilled to welcome Connie (Cabral) to the BHHS EWM Realty family earlier this year,” said Ron Shuffield, President & CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty. “Her success in the industry and keen understanding of the luxury sector have made her a go-to associate for high-net-worth buyers and sellers across South Florida and beyond.”
