Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services hosted a summer BBQ last month to celebrate the organization’s 33rd birthday on June 19. The event took place at its Miami Central Campus location and featured a barbeque buffet, music, popcorn and snow cone station, and an award ceremony celebrating youth and staff. Guests enjoyed the summer festivities, along with children and teens assisted by the organization’s support services and programs for youth in crisis.
Nine of Miami Bridge’s best team members were honored as 2018 staff award winners for their extraordinary contributions toward the care of the organization’s youth and for exemplifying a consistent spirit of excellence.

Miami Bridge works with all youth and specializes in rescuing kids and teens from lives of victimization and crime, providing them with structure in a stable and nurturing environment. It also provides access to non-residential family crisis intervention programs and truancy diversion services in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Public Schools to assist truant youth in overcoming issues that impede school attendance and personal development.
