SVP Wes Wasson Sells Citrix Stock Worth $11M - cbl

FORT LAUDERDALE -- Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Wesley Wasson sold Citrix Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXS) stock worth $10.97 million, according to a Form 4 insider-trade filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
At an average price of $47.10 apiece, Wasson sold 233,058 shares in the enterprise software maker, which specializes in virtualization, networking and other technology. The sale followed the conversion of stock options at exercise prices ranging from $2.52 to $39.52 each.
He still owns 36,322 shares valued at $1.77 million, based on the stock's closing price of $48.95 on Tuesday.
Separately, Senior Vice President John Gordon Payne sold stock worth $32,300. He still owns 35,517 shares, valued at $1.73 million.

Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Wes Wasson is a senior vice president and the chief marketing officer for Citrix. Wasson joined Citrix in August 2005 through its acquisition of NetScaler, Inc, where he served as vice president of worldwide marketing.
The former Sun Microsystems and Network Associates executive brings an extensive track record of success with nearly 20 years of experience in the datacenter infrastructure, networking and security market.
At Sun Microsystems, Wasson served as vice president for the Java Enterprise System line of business where he helped Sun achieve number one market share positions across several industry segments. Prior to Sun, Wasson held several leadership positions at Network Associates, where he helped them grow from a $200M single product company into a $1B industry leader in networking and security in just under four years.
Wasson earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Biola University where he received the President's Award as top overall graduate. He also earned a master's degree from the University of Phoenix, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors.

Senior Vice President and General Manager, Desktop Division
As senior vice president and general manager of the Desktop Division for Citrix, Gordon is leading the charge towards a new simplified model for IT. This new model radically simplifies computing for millions of users, delivering desktops and applications as an on-demand service to any user, in any location on any device.
The Desktop Division includes business units prime for user self service, desktop and application virtualization, networking and security. Gordon was named one of the "Top 100 Voices" of the IP Communications Industry, by Internet Telephony magazine for his leadership in the Voice over IP market. He currently serves on the board of directors of Vyatta, a leader in open networking and Kabira, a leader in memory-based transaction computing.
He holds an M.B.A. from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland and a B.A. in Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
