Tampa-Based Bank Announces Purchase of Two Florida Retail Branches From Encore Bank
HomeBanc Expands Tampa Bay Operations; Plans to Open New Offices in Pinellas County
TAMPA, FL -- (March 16, 2010) - Tampa-based HomeBanc N.A. has executed a purchase agreement with Encore Bank N.A., HomeBancorp, Inc. announced today. Under the terms of the agreement which is subject to regulatory approval, HomeBanc will acquire deposits of approximately $58 million from Encore Bank's offices in Clearwater and Belleair Bluffs. The transaction is anticipated to be completed in the summer of 2010.
