Industry Professionals Complete Realtor Builder Accord
After more than a year in the making, a newly completed Realtor Builder Accord was unveiled during a ceremonial signing event at the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) Sales and Marketing Council monthly breakfast meeting.
The accord is an agreement between builders and Realtors to conduct business with the highest of ethical standards. The document was researched and drafted by a task force that came out of the SMC’s Education Committee. The task force included representatives from both NEFBA and the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR). The accord, which was signed by NEFBA Executive Director Daniel Davis and NEFAR Chief Executive Officer Glenn East, will be posted on both associations’ websites.
“Professionals in our industry are known for working together with respect and professionalism to achieve a common goal,” said NEFBA President Barbara Moore, who is division president for Lennar Jacksonville. “We want consumers to know they will receive the utmost integrity and responsibility when working with a Realtor and builder participating under this accord.”
