Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced that Litigation Group Co-Chair and partner, Michael N. Kreitzer, was elected Chair of the Friends of WLRN Board of Directors (Friends), a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for WLRN Public Radio and Television (WLRN).

Incorporated in 1974, Friends raises nearly $9 million annually for WLRN, the National Public Radio/Public Broadcasting Service affiliate in South Florida. Mr. Kreitzer was first appointed to the Friends Board of Directors in 2009.

Mr. Kreitzer has been a Florida Bar Board Certified Attorney in Business Litigation since 1997. He has a broad commercial trial practice, with extensive experience in both jury and non-jury cases in state and federal trial courts, as well as appellate courts. Mr. Kreitzer's practice includes complex commercial disputes, lender liability and related financial institution litigation, construction litigation and shareholder and partnership disputes. He has consistently received top rankings by legal publications such as Chambers USA, Benchmark Litigation, Florida Trend's Legal Elite, and The Best Lawyers in America.

In addition to maintaining a successful practice and his responsibilities as Chair of Friends, Mr. Kreitzer is an active member of several Bar Associations and is Chairman Emeritus of the Wolfsonian-Florida International University Advisory Board, a museum, library and research center in the historic Miami Beach district.
