Kelley Kronenberg Promotes Three South Florida Attorneys to Partners

Kelley Kronenberg, a diverse business law firm, announced that Lydia Harley, Casey B. Mullin and Alberto Polimeni have been elevated from Attorneys to Partners in several of the firm’s South Florida offices.

Lydia Harley, who is based in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, manages the firm’s Multinational Client Practice Group and is the Director of the firm’s German Practice. She focuses her practice on the defense of General Liability, Immigration, and the prosecution and defense of declaratory judgement actions involving insurance coverage disputes and extra-contractual claims. She currently serves as the Vice President of the German American Business Chamber of South Florida and is an active member of the American-German Club of the Palm Beaches.

Harley earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Global Business and Public Policy from the University of Maryland College Park where she graduated magna cum laude. She earned her Master of Business Administration Degree, with a concentration in Operations Management, from Florida Atlantic University and her Juris Doctor Degree, summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. Additionally, Harley studied law at Justus-Liebig Universität Giessen in Germany, with a primary focus on Constitutional, Contract, Tort, and Criminal Law. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and is fluent in verbal and written German, and fluent in verbal Aramaic.

Casey B. Mullin, from the firm’s West Palm Beach office, focuses his practice on General Liability, First Party Property Insurance Defense, Commercial Litigation and Criminal Defense. He previously worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Office of the Public Defender, 15th Judicial Circuit in West Palm Beach, where, he provided criminal defense representation to more than 100 clients. He has tried more than 20 cases to verdict, including 16 jury trials.

Mullin earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and American History from Boston University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. While attending law school, Mullin worked for the Office of the Public Defender, in Palm Beach County as a Certified Legal Intern, where he served in the defense of more than 50 clients in misdemeanor criminal cases. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and the District of Columbia.

Alberto Polimeni, who is located in Kelley Kronenberg’s Miami office, is a member of the firm’s Immigration and Nationality Practice Group and serves as the Director of the firm’s Italian Practice. Polimeni assists foreign entities and individuals in successfully establishing business in the U.S., as well as domestic clients in the area of corporate, business, and employment law. He is experienced in advising businesses regarding corporate, taxation, transactional, litigation and immigration matters, both nationally and internationally. Additionally, he is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the National Italian American Foundation, and the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast, as well as the German American Business Chamber.

Polimeni earned his law degree from Roma Tre University of Rome, Italy. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law through a dual degree program between the two law schools. He is admitted to practice law in Italy, Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is fluent in Italian, English and Spanish and is also conversational in French.
