Kelley Kronenberg Adds Two Partners and Three Attorneys to its Fort Lauderdale Office

Kelley Kronenberg, a diverse business law firm, announced that Sonia Oliveri and Samuel F. Santiago have joined the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office as Partners, and Aaron D. Neifeld, Dorie L. Ortiz and Andrea M. Ramos have joined as Attorneys.

Oliveri focuses her practice on Business Immigration, the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program process, and Commercial and Business Litigation. She represents clients with both domestic and international interests concerning international/cross-border transactions and international estate matters. She is also the strategic U.S. partner with a preeminent business advisory law firm based out of Rome, Italy.

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Oliveri worked for a major immigration investment firm where she gained vast experience in business immigration, employment-based applications, business and investor visas, business agreements, establishing corporations, employment and commercial lease agreements and contract negotiations. She also advised individuals, businesses and regional centers on EB-5 compliance issues and complex U.S. immigration and nationality issues.

Oliveri earned her Juris Doctor Degree, summa cum laude, from Roma Tre University in Rome, Italy before moving to the United States to earn her second Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Oliveri is fluent in Italian, Farsi, Spanish, French, Portuguese and English.

Santiago focuses his practice on Real Property Litigation and assisting banks and other financial service providers with regulatory, enforcement, transactional and litigation matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Santiago worked as a Consumer Finance Litigation and Trial Attorney where he gained vast experience in collections, residential and commercial foreclosure, loan modifications and represented cases involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act. In addition, he has significant experience in Reverse Mortgage Litigation.

Santiago earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Puerto Rico and his Juris Doctor Degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, School of Law. While in law school, he worked as a Legal Intern for the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico Legal Clinic. He is admitted to practice law in Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is fluent in Spanish.

Neifeld assists in handling matters related to Third Party Insurance Defense, Property and Casualty Claims, and Complex Commercial Construction Disputes. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for an insurance defense firm handling personal injury/wrongful death, general liability, auto/trucking negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice, property damage and construction disputes.

Neifeld earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida, Burnett Honors College, and his Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Board College of Law. While in law school, he served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office in the Felony Trial Division. He is admitted to practice law in Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Ortiz assists in handling matters related to Commercial and Business Litigation. Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, she owned and operated a boutique law firm where she primarily handled immigration matters. She also has extensive experience representing financial institutions and mortgage servicers in foreclosure and bankruptcy matters.

Ortiz earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida and her Juris Doctor Degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. While in law school, she served as the President and Vice-President of the Hispanic American Law Student Association. She is admitted to practice law in Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Ramos assists in handling matters related to First Party Insurance Defense. Prior to joining the firm, she handled insurance defense litigation and insurance claims with a focus on fraudulent homeowners’ insurance claims.

Ramos earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Geography, Environmental Science and Urban Planning, magna cum laude, from the University of South Florida. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Board College of Law. While in Law school, she served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Fort Lauderdale City Attorney’s office. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and is fluent in Spanish.
