Ver Ploeg & Lumpkin, the insurance coverage and bad faith litigation boutique, is pleased to announce that Stephen A. Marino, Jr. was elected managing partner and Rochelle N. Wimbush elected partner.

Marino, who has been at the firm for twenty-one years, focuses his practice exclusively on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. He is the past president of the Miami-Dade Justice Association, an active member of numerous voluntary bar associations, and the Chairman of the Board of the Overtown Youth Center.Marino earned his undergraduate degree in architecture from Columbia University and his law degreefrom the University of Miami School of Law.

Wimbush concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, representing both individual and corporate policyholders. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Miami Dade Trial Lawyers Association and is an active member of the Dade County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice and the American Bar Association. In 2016, Wimbush was selected as one of Super Lawyers’ Florida Rising Stars and was an honoree for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s 40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of South Florida. In 2015, she was honored as one of Legacy Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Black Leaders. She received her B.A. from Princeton University and her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
