TooJay’s, the restaurant known for its generous servings of homemade New York deli favorites, has announced the appointment of 12-year hospitality industry veteran Danielle DeGrood as director of catering.
In her new position, DeGrood is responsible for the management of daily catering sales and operations for TooJay’s 27 restaurants and for overseeing seven area catering sales representatives.
Before joining TooJay’s management team, DeGrood served Panera Bread most recently as director of catering, overseeing catering for 33 Orlando-area locations. Prior to that role, she held other positions there, including catering coordinator and catering manager.
“I am absolutely thrilled to join the TooJay’s team,” said DeGrood. “We have an exciting and extensive menu and the ability to cater for any size group. I look forward to growing sales and increasing awareness across the state for the catering line of business.”
DeGrood lives in West Palm Beach and enjoys watching football when she’s not working.
Founded in 1981, TooJay’s has grown to 27 restaurants throughout Florida and currently serves guests in Palm Beach and Broward counties, the Treasure Coast, the West Coast of Florida, the Orlando area, The Villages and Polk County.
