WHO/WHAT:
In partnership with Live Like Bella® and Are You Kidding Socks, Gulliver is joining the fight against
pediatric cancer. Since December 1, Middle and Upper School students have been selling Live Like Bella® socks to raise funds to support the fight against childhood cancer in research, treatment support and memorial support.
Spearheaded by Miller Drive social sciences faculty member Christy Acosta '90, Director of Student Activities Danielle Bowen '94, Prep English faculty member and Director of Community Outreach and Engagement Adam Schachner and Academy performing arts faculty member Carla Duval,the effort has been incredibly well received by the school community. To celebrate their fundraising efforts, Gulliver will host an old-fashioned Sock Hop Dance featuring a DJ, photo booth, games and more, where admittance will be granted only by wearing Live Like Bella® socks.
