The asset sold for $10,400,000.

Douglas K. Mandel, senior managing director investments, Silver, in Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale office, and Nicholas Hanson, associate, in Marcus & Millichap’s Orlando office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The buyer, a limited liability company, was secured and represented by L.J. Tsunis, associate, and Krone Weidler, first vice president investments, both in Marcus & Millichap’s Tampa office.
“Additionally, the Property offers critical mass which allows for an investor outside of the state to enter the market and have onsite management and leasing,” continues Silver.

The property is located at the north point of Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and within a half an hour from the Port of Manatee, which is the closest U.S. deep water seaport to the expanding Panama Canal. Airport Commerce Center consists of eight industrial buildings totaling 183, 227 square feet and is currently 95 percent occupied by a blend of flex, office and warehouse tenants. The property provides versatility to both ownership and tenants.
