Broward Health announces the addition of Lee Ghezzi, RN, MPS, LHRM, HACP as Vice President of Quality and Case Management.

Ghezzi will be responsible for the administration, development and implementation of system-wide case management plans, policies, programs and accounting processes that support the overall success of the organization and compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. TJC standards focus on important patient care and organization functions essential to providing safe, high quality care.

Ghezzi brings 40 years of experience in health-care administration. He most recently held the position of director of clinical process and risk management for Cleveland Clinic Florida. Previously he was with local organizations including Hialeah Hospital, North Shore Medical Center and Palmetto General Hospital.

He holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Health Administration from The New School for Social Research in New York. He is also a Registered Professional Nurse (RPN), a licensed Health Care Risk Manager, and is a Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional.
