Kiwanis Club Of Little Havana Invites Young Ladies Across South Florida

Winner Will Receive Paid Entry to Miss Florida USA Pageant and a College Scholarship

WHAT: Calling all young ladies! Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, a non-profit organization, will host its annual Miss Carnaval Miami competition, where young female leaders aged 16 to 25 years old will have the chance to become the ultimate ambassador for our local community. It’s not too late to apply – registration is open until Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2018.

Chosen upon talent, beauty, pose and community involvement, the winner will host all Carnaval Miami 2018 activities, taking on the role of brand ambassador for Carnaval Miami, Kiwanis Club of Little Havana and participating sponsors. Miss Carnaval Miami 2018’s one-year reign will be filled with memorable moments and experiences that foster her growth as both an individual and community leader. Additional perks include paid entry to the Miss Florida USA pageant, gifts and a college scholarship.

WHO: Contestants must:

  • Be between 16 and 26 on competition night
  • Be single, never married and not to be a parent
  • Have strong communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Be of good moral character
  • Commit to be present at all Carnaval Miami events
  • Commit to be an advocate of Kiwanis Club of Little Havana community causes and projects
  • Submit two photographs (1 close-up, 1 full body)
  • Submit proof of age (i.e. driver’s license)
  • Submit the registration fee: $50
