TooJay’s Unveils Fresh, Contemporary Look at its Original Palm Beach Restaurant

10/29/17

When the first TooJay's opened in 1981, the restaurant introduced classic New York deli favorites to the world-renowned island of Palm Beach. Thirty-six years later and with 27 restaurants throughout Florida, the restaurant known for its generous servings of homemade specialties has remodeled its Palm Beach flagship restaurant at 313 Royal Poinciana Way with a fresh, contemporary look.

The remodel preserves the look and feel of an authentic New York deli in a modern environment of bright, new tiles, flooring and comfortable booths. Vintage elements include walls adorned with big, bold Delicatessen and Bakery signs. The restaurant’s famously tempting bakery counter figures prominently in the design and welcomes guests with an enticing selection of freshly baked pastries.

“Since TooJay’s opened in 1981 and through years of growth, the restaurant has never strayed from the great hospitality and made-from-scratch specialties our guests love,” said Maxwell Piet, President and CEO of TooJay’s. “Now that our remodel is complete, we look forward to welcoming our loyal guests as well as new generations of deli fans to enjoy our new look and great food.”

TooJay’s continues to connect with deli fans, new and old, through its creative menu, lighter fare options and by using technology to provide speed and convenience. Earlier this year, the company launched its “Delicious Rewards” program on TooJay’s mobile app, available for iOS and Android, where guests can earn points, receive special offers, and check out its menu and locations.

TooJay’s currently serves guests throughout Florida at restaurants in Palm Beach and Broward counties, the Treasure Coast, the West Coast of Florida, the Orlando area, The Villages and Polk County.

TooJay’s received the 2016 Best of South Florida Award for Best Deli from the Sun Sentinel, 2017 Dining Award for Best Deli from Orlando Magazine, two Foodie Awards for Best Deli and Best Take-Out from the Orlando Sentinel andis ranked eighth in the country for Family Dining by Consumer Reports.
