The South Florida EO chapter’s bidto host the event was chosen over dozens of eligible groupsin the East region of the U.S. based on astrong program of activities and speakers arranged byEO-SOFLO board members Barry Kates and Scott Silver.

“It’s a big honor for our chapter to host NERVE 2017 and shine in front of business leaders from across the world. Barry and Scott have put together a fantastic program,” said EO-SOFLO president Aaron Lee. “In addition to the revenue generated for the local economy, it’s also a great opportunity to highlight the booming entrepreneurial spirit and resources we arefostering here in South Florida.”

The South Florida market has emerged as one of the most active start-up hubs in the nation, and that factor helped in earning the opportunity to host the conference, Lee said.

EO-SOFLO is one of the largest EO chapters in the world. The local group has more than 180 members who run businesses that account for more than 10,000 jobs and $2 billion in annual revenues in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
