Metropica Hosts Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance’s Governor Council Meeting

65-acre master-planned community in the western Broward corridor - hosted the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance’s Governor Council monthly breakfast meeting at their sales gallery in Sunrise, Florida on Tuesday, October 10th.

Governor Council members were welcomed by developer Joseph Kavana, CEO of Metropica Development, LLC, as they received a first-hand look at the highly-anticipated multi-use project, which is poised to become a leading world-class destination and true regional epicenter for Broward County.

Members also enjoyed a decadent breakfast and engaged in a lively discussion about key issues and plans to further economic development in Broward County.

Comprised of noted local city officials and business leaders, the Governor Council delivers an unbiased evaluation of the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County region, including its economic strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, as well as education and workforce topics, to ensure the Alliance and its members are equipped with the market intelligence required to drive action oriented behaviors.
