Ronald C. Brandenburg, II has been named vice president and chief financial officer of Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale.

Brandenburg previously held the role of chief financial officer at Broward Health Coral Springs, a 200-bed acute care hospital. A member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American Management Association, he has more than 30 years of healthcare experience in accounting, financial decision support, business leadership, and management.

At Holy Cross, Brandenburg will focus on driving key strategies and financial stewardship. He will oversee all finance functions including financial decision support, accounting, payroll, managed care, patient access, patient financial services, health information management, strategic planning, technology information services and supply chain management.

Active in the community, he is a board member for the Winterfest Boat Parade and a member of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce’s Downtown Council. He also is involved with Junior Achievement, March of Dimes, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the United Way of Broward County.

Brandenburg received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management/finance from Florida Atlantic University. He resides in Fort Lauderdale.
