Guests Wine and Dine at the 24th Annual Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction

On Friday, October 6th, 2017, approximately 500 guests arrived atHard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywoodfor the 24th Annual Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction to dine on the delicious culinary delights of local restaurants and to raise much needed funds for Ann Storck Center (ASC). The annual Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction event has become one of South Florida’s most respected and premier culinary events of the season as the originator of this type of event. This year’s event was a resounding success, earning more than $230,000.

“It truly warms my heart to see the outpour of generosity from our community,” said Vice President of Community Affairs &Special Events for Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Susan Renneisen. “On behalf of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, we are proud to be a supporter of Ann Storck Center and we look forward to continue doing our part to help raise awareness and funds for this great organization.”

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed into the Silent Auction Reception, sponsored by Memorial Healthcare Systems. Guests were given an opportunity to bid on unique experiences, delicious dining opportunities, and more. In the Grand Tasting area, guests were treated to a performance by the kids of the ASC Early Intervention Preschooland Samuel Alexander, who wrote an Ann Storck Center original song. Guests then heard one ASC family’s story. Soon after, the Grand Tasting began, featuring 26 of South Florida’s most innovative and celebrated chefs from the local community; Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Aruba Beach Café, BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse, Bob Roth’s New River Groves & Terry’s World Famous Pies, Bravo Peruvian Cuisine, Brimstone Woodfire Grill, Casa D'AngeloRistorante, Coastal, Crave Rum, Hard Rock Cafe, Hickory Sticks BBQ, Honeybaked Ham, I Heart Mac N Cheese, Jason’s Deli, JOJI Yogurt, Mimi’s Ravioli, Native Brewing Company, Riverside Market South, Roho Kitchen, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Catering, Sweet & Savory Catering, Tarpon River Café & Absolute Catering, Tijuana Taxi Co., Tin Fish, Truluck's Seafood Steak & Crab House, and Wild Sea Oyster Bar & Grille.

“Unfortunately Hurricane Irma and the damage we sustained put an additional strain on our already limited resources,” ASC’s Chief Executive Officer Charlotte Mather-Taylor said. “Our event supporters generously gave from the heart to help the Center. However, our work isn’t over, we still need financial help to get us throughtough times like this.”
