The Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale was founded in 1937 as the Fort Lauderdale Junior Service League. It was created to provide the community with willing volunteers in civic and child welfare work and has evolved into a powerful agent of change in the community. It is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through effective action.

“It is amazing to be part of this significant milestone – and to have such dedicated women to make the celebration as special as the anniversary,” noted Banaszak.
