The Levy Group – a top-producing, six-person team of seasoned real estate associates -- has joined EWM Realty International, an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway. The announcement was made today by EWM President Ron Shuffield.
Formerly with Coldwell Banker, the team was founded more than 20 years ago by mother and son Wendy Levy-Jackson and Adam Levy, both of whom have had a significant influence on the South Florida residential market throughout their respective careers. Together, their dynamic outfit -- boasting a combined 100 years of experience -- includes licensed realtors Jennifer McDonald Levy and Maria Eugenia Escagedo, as well as Jodie Mesa and Evelyn Alfaro.
Focused on luxury sales in Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay, The Levy Group has been consistently recognized for its myriad of industry achievements – earning Coldwell Banker’s President’s Elite distinction year after year, as well as the company’s coveted Florida 100 Award. In addition to being ranked as Coldwell Banker’s No. 1 producer in Pinecrest for the years 2014 and 2016, the team has been honored with numerous additional accolades, including membership in the Master Broker’s Forum -- a distinction earned by the top 250 agents in Miami-Dade County, in this case spotlighting both Levy-Jackson and Levy.

Wendy Levy-Jackson has built an extraordinary real estate career in South Florida -- one spanning more than 37 years. A member of Miami-Dade County’s esteemed Master Broker’s Forum, she has been the recipient of numerous Coldwell Banker top-producer awards, including the distinction of being the company’s No. 1 team in the Pinecrest branch office. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she earned her Bachelor of Arts from Ohio University.
Adam Levy began his career in real estate on the other side of the table: building homes. Originally a licensed contractor, Levy started with Centex Homes in Orlando and eventually made his way into the brokerage industry after he expressed an interest in learning more about home sales and which floorplans were the most desirable to South Florida buyers. Active in the community, Levy is also a member of the Master Broker’s Forum, the Miami Board of REALTORS, and is the former president of the Business Network International’s Pinecrest chapter. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida School of Building Construction.
Jennifer McDonald Levy has been in the real estate industry for 18 years, boasting extensive experience in the Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay markets. Levy, who hails from Seattle, Wash., grew up in Pinecrest and earned her bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master’s in Reading and Learning Disabilities from the University of Miami. Before breaking into real estate, Levy worked as a teacher.
Maria Eugenia Escagedo has been a standout in South Florida’s residential real estate community throughout the course of her 25-year career. Tri-lingual -- fluent in French, Spanish and English -- Escagedo is vested in the local community as a member of the Miami Board of REALTORS. Born in Havana, Cuba, Escagedo has a Bachelor’s degree in Business, a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from the University of Miami.
Evelyn Alfaro, who is extremely tech-savvy and manages that side of The Levy Group business, has been in real estate for four years. Originally from Cuba, Alfaro has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Miami-Dade College.
Jodie Mesa has been in real estate for 35 years and is fully-equipped to assist customers throughout all facets of the home-buying, selling and renting experience. A Miami native, Mesa has lived in Pinecrest for 30 years.
