TotalBank announced Eli Rodriguez has joined the company as Managing Director for the South Beach market, including the Bank’s South Beach Banking Center, located at 1125 5^th Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139.

Rodriguez has more than 25 years of financial practice spanning retail, commercial, community and private banking. His areas of expertise include regulatory compliance, mortgage production, commercial/consumer loans, wealth management, deposit products, training and development, and consumer banking market leadership.

Just prior to joining TotalBank, he spent three years as an assistant vice president with Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust serving as a corporate trainer, private banker and commercial lender of a predominantly international client portfolio. His retail banking experience includes tenures as vice president with Bank of America and Citibank as a regional sales and community relations officer, community banking center manager and marketing team leader.

Rodriguez’ education from University of La Verne School of Business Management includes the current pursuit of a Master of Business Administration degree. He serves as Treasurer on the executive board of the Collaborative Development Corporation – a nonprofit that works with community-based organizations and financial institutions to support business, employment and housing development opportunities in South Florida. He is also a member of ACCION USA and the Miami Beach Latin Chamber.
