Dr. Ronald C. Thomas, Jr. has been selected to serve as a trustee on the Florida Fire & Emergency Services Foundation. Dr. Thomas is the Executive Director for the Union Institute & University Florida Academic Center.

As a trustee, Dr. Thomas will support the foundation’s mission to provide educational opportunities to fire and emergency services professionals and raise public awareness of Florida's fire and emergency services. Dr. Thomas brings years of experience to this volunteer board and is an example of Union’s mission to transform lives and communities.

Dr. Thomas earned his Doctor of Education from the University of Florida, Gainesville, his Master of Science in Communication from Florida State University, and his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of West Florida.
