Free Outdoor Monthly Concert Featuring Timba Con Cosa on Friday, Sept. 29

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), North Miami presents Timba Con Cosaas part of its monthly “Jazz at MOCA” series. Timba Con Cosa, a brand-new Timba venture in Miami, will delight you with a mix of exquisite arrangements and a repertoire including unreleased tracks and versions of classic Cuban songs.

The group is the creation of Grammy award-winning drummer Alexis “Pututi” Acre. Acre has been a sought-after studio and live performer by today’s top Latin artists such as Luis Enrique, Concha Buika and Bacilos to name a few. He now brings usTimba Con Cosa, this new group comprised of long-time colleagues who are ready to share this new adventure with him.

Get ready to dance to the Cuban tunes of Timba Con Cosa, rain or shine! MOCA’s Edouard Duval-Carrie: Metamorphosis exhibition will be open by donation from 7-10 p.m. during Jazz at MOCA.
