Waste Management Provides $2,500 College Scholarships to Two Margate Students

Waste Management was pleased to award $2,500 college scholarships to two Margate students: Payton Mulkey who will be attending the University of Florida, and Brandon Fogleman, who is heading to Florida Gulf Coast University.


Congratulating the scholarship winners are: Jim Mulkey, WM Government Relations Manager Barbara Herrera, Margate Mayor Tommy Ruzzano, student Payton Mulkey, student Brandon Fogleman, Abner Alvarez (Brandon’s father); Jaymie Alvarez, Vice Mayor Arlene Schwartz, Commissioner Anthony Caggiano and Malena Alvarez.

“Waste Management is pleased to partner with the City of Margate to provide $5,000 annually in college scholarship funds to two deserving high school seniors from the city,” said Dawn McCormick, WM Director of Community Affairs. “Payton and Brandon excelled in the classroom, in their extracurricular activities and in their community service endeavors, and we wish them well at the university level.”
