U.S. Century Bank Donates School Supplies To 150 Students At E.W.F. Stirrup Elementary

8/28/17

U.S. Century Bank (USCB)recently donated 150 backpacks full of back-to-school supplies to students at E.W.F. Stirrup Elementary School in Miami. The coordinated effort was led by Raquel Benitez, vice president and branch manager of USCB’s Bird Road Banking Center. The USCB team collected money, went out and bought supplies, filled backpacks and then delivered them to their grateful recipients.

“Filling a need in our community is an integral part of what drives us at U.S. Century. Since the costs associated with back-to-school can be high, we wanted to help alleviate some of that burden for our local families. E.W.F. Stirrup has a relatively high percentage of low-income families so we were happy to lend them our support,” stated Benitez.
