Kenneth A. Knox
Kenneth A. Knox, a partner with the labor and employment law firm of Fisher Phillips LLP, recently spoke at the 7th Annual Labor & Employment Law Conference hosted by the Seminar Group. He provided a public sector update focusing on workplace investigations and discipline; privacy rights; use of technology; email and public records laws.
Practicing in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, Knox represents employers in a variety of state and federal court litigation, including claims of unlawful discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-hour, breach of contract, and whistleblower cases. He also represents private- and public-sector employers in labor law issues brought before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Public Employees Relations Commission (PERC).
In addition, Knox represents employers in administrative matters involving Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), including conducting investigations into workplace accidents, assisting in the development of preventative measures, and responding to citations and complaints issued by OSHA and claims of retaliation brought by individuals.
Knox earned his B.A. from Bowling Green State University and his J.D., with high honors, from Florida State University College of Law. He is "AV" Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
