Duke Realty, a leading nationwide REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) specializing in the ownership, management and development of quality industrial facilities, announces that it has executed a long-term lease agreement for a 170,428-square-foot, build-to-suit warehouse for PODS Enterprises, LLC (PODS). PODS, a residential and commercial mover and the country’s largest portable storage container provider, will consolidate its operations from two other Orlando-area warehouses and expand by approximately 72,000 square feet. The new warehouse is being built to PODS’ specifications on a 12.48-acre site at 7133 Municipal Drive in Orlando, approximately one mile from I-4.

“PODS has been a valued customer for several years, and we are excited to continue our partnership by delivering a build-to-suit facility for them,” said Ed Mitchell, Senior Vice President of Duke Realty’s Florida Region. “This new facility will be state-of-the-art and incorporate modern features that will help facilitate the storage and distribution of their products.”
