Marc Snediker

Redevelopment Management Associates is proud to announce the addition of Marc Snediker as the real estate manager for the Pompano Beach-based firm. With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Snediker will oversee this rapidly expanding division of the award-winning redevelopment company. He is being tasked with key projects including the Pompano Beach Innovation District, retail analysis and recruitment for the City of Lauderhill and the leasing of the Tavares Square Project in central Florida.

“Marc brings tremendous passion and knowledge about the real estate industry to our team,” said RMA co-founder, Kim Briesemeister. “With his addition, we will continue to broaden the services we offer our clients in Florida and beyond.”

Snediker previously worked for the North American Development Group, headquartered in Toronto, managing a portfolio of shopping centers located throughout Florida. He has managed and developed over 7 million square feet of commercial real estate and created over $25million in value through increasing net operating incomes at the properties. He has been involved in many public/private partnerships including bringing public sewer and cable to neighborhoods as part of a commercial redevelopment.

“RMA’s real estate division offers an array of exciting projects for me,” said Snediker. “Their visionary concepts and proven strategies for redevelopment make this an extraordinary opportunity to create a positive impact on so many communities. Using my experience as a developer, especially with turning around distressed commercial properties, I look to enhance the various services we can provide to our clients.”

In Tavares, located in central Florida,Snediker is overseeing the listing of the Tavares Square Project, one vacant square city block, with waterfront views, located in the heart of its entertainment district, adjacent to the downtown seaplane base and train station.

“This project is expanding the firm’s brokerage services and utilizing mytwo decades of experience in valuing, acquiring, and executing sales on commercial properties,” he stated.

The Pompano Innovation District highlights RMA’s acquisition and disposition skills in assembling the properties in this district, along with showcasing the firm’s redevelopment skills and partnerships with private developers to realize the CRA’s and City’s vision for this area.

“Most of my career has been centered around redeveloping underutilized properties,” Snediker explained. “Distressed properties often need a fresh or imaginative approach, and that has been my focus for most of my career, so this project is especially rewarding.”

The Lauderhill project will showcase RMA’s leasing and business attraction skills as they work to bring quality development to the area, focusing on several key districts.

“I have worked with retailers and commercial shopping centers since the late 80s,” he continued. “Understanding what retailers are looking for from a location can often be the key to unlocking the potential of a particular area. My experience with commercial leasing will be utilized to bring new businesses and development to Lauderhill.”
