Fowler White Burnett is pleased to announce that it has elevated Alexandra L. Tifford to Shareholder in the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group. Alexandra has more than 18 years of experience litigating a wide range of conflicts arising in South Florida. She regularly defends business clients in high exposure cases and specializes in complex, multi-party document intensive lawsuit in both Federal and State courts.

Alexandra devotes her practice to complex, commercial matters with an emphasis on business litigation, including claims arising out of shareholder disputes, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, officer and director liability, and corporate governance. Alexandra also has experience in representing condominium and homeowners associations, including contractual disputes and statutory violations and corporate trustees in trust and estate litigation.

Tifford is admitted to practice in the Second and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal; the Southern, Middle and Northern District Courts of Florida; the Southern District Court of California; and the District Court of Colorado.

She received her Juris Doctor degree, cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law, and a Bachelor’s of Science degree, magna cum laude from Syracuse University.
