Less than 1.5 percent of active Florida Bar members who practice in Florida were chosen for the Florida Legal Elite 2017 listing. Firm Chairman C. In-state members of The Florida Bar nominated Florida Legal Elite 2017 honorees. Members were surveyed to name lawyers whom they hold in the highest regard. A panel of past Legal Elite lawyers representing different practice areas and cities across the state also reviewed the selection process and the list of finalists.
