Two attorneys at the law firm of Brinkley Morgan are set for new terms on the boards of directors of major South Florida legal organizations.

Quentin E. Morgan, a local government attorney, was re-elected to the board of directors for the T.J. Reddick Bar Association. The association is dedicated to promoting the professional excellence of black lawyers in Broward County and increasing the enrollment of minority students in college and law school.

Morgan is an AV Preeminent rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and was recently named one of “South Florida’s Most Powerful and Influential Black Leaders” by Legacy Magazine.  He focuses his practice on governmental affairs, land development and local government law, as well as estate and financial transactions.

Julia Wyda, a family law attorney, was reappointed to the board of directors of the Palm Beach County Bar Association (PBCBA). The PBCBA aims to enhance the public’s understanding of the legal system and give back to the community through public service activities.

Wyda is an active member of the Family Law section of the Florida Bar, the Broward County Matrimonial Lawyers, the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, the South Palm Beach County Bar Association and the South Palm Beach County Collaborative Law Group. She concentrates her practice in all areas of marital and family law, including dissolution of marriage, parental responsibility and time sharing, equitable distribution, alimony, child support, attorney’s fees, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, paternity and child dependency.
