CBRE Group, Inc., has arranged the sale of the Holiday Inn Express Tallahassee, a 135-room hotel located off Interstate 10, at the intersection of Thomasville Road and Capital Circle. The recently renovated property was converted to the Holiday Inn Express brand following an extensive renovation in 2015. GFIG Florida One, LLC, acquired the hotel.

CBRE’s Paul Weimer, Christian Charre, and Natalie Castillo represented the seller, Atlanta-based Banyan Investment Group Tallahassee HIX, LLC, in the transaction.

“Our client executed a very successful renovation and rebranding strategy, creating substantial value and an excellent base for the new owners to build upon,” said Mr. Weimer, senior vice president, CBRE Capital Markets.

Built in 1991, the five-story hotel is situated on 2.5 acres and located at a highly visible intersection off I-10. The property includes a large breakfast room, business center, fitness center, and outdoor swimming pool.
