Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce Corporate Associate R. Stephen Sandiford has been selected as a Fellow for the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar. Stephen's two-year term begins July 1, 2017, and lasts through June 2019. The Fellowship Program provides a two-year subsidy to six highly qualified applicants interested in an active role in the work and leadership of the Business Law Section.

Stephen's legal practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, joint venture agreements, and fund formation. He regularly serves as counsel for capital partners and developers interested in forming joint ventures for development projects in California, Florida, Georgia, and New York.

Stephen was recognized by the Daily Business Review as the Most Effective Lawyer in Corporate Securities in 2016 and Top Dealmaker of the Year in the Retail category in 2015. He was also named to Real Estate Forum's Annual Deals and Dealmakers in 2015.
