Historic Wedding Venue and Park Spaces Available for Private Parties in the City of Wilton Manors

5/9/17

Looking for the perfect historic landmark, or Certified Wildlife Habitat park for your wedding or special event? The City of Wilton Manors is home to eight indoor and outdoor venues, each with their own unique features and backdrops to fit every type of event, large or small. From weddings and birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, to corporate meetings and community events, the City of Wilton Manors has the perfect venue to meet your needs.

“Many of our guests are looking to create a sense of place for their special event,” said Patrick Cann, Director of the City’s Leisure Services Department. “A ballroom or conference room is easy to replicate; the natural habitat that all of our venues offers is second to none because it can’t be replicated.”

One of the most popular wedding venues is Richardson Historic Park & Nature Preserve. Once home to the Tequesta Indians and later to prominent early citizens of Wilton Manors, Richardson Historic Park & Nature Preserve is now a popular stopping place for numerous migrating and local birds as well as home to numerous forms of wildlife. Couples who host their wedding at Richardson Historic Park & Nature Preserve have the option to use the Carriage House or the Manor House, in addition to an outdoor courtyard space featuring a picturesque white gazebo, nature trails and kayak rentals.

“All of our venues offer something unique,” said Cann. “Depending on which of the venues you select for your event, an array of amenities such as full-service kitchen amenities, a stage, outdoor patio, a bar, playgrounds, gazebos and water view could be available to you.”
