Peerfit, a digital platform that makes it easy for insurance carriers, brokers and employers to offer boutique fitness classes to their clients and employees, has added Todd Slawter, a seasoned health insurance industry executive, to its team as Chief Growth Officer.

Slawter brings more than 20 years of experience in the health insurance industry to his role at Peerfit. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President at BenefitMall, which works with a network of 20,000 brokers and CPAs to deliver employee benefits and payroll services to more than 200,000 small and medium-sized businesses. 

Prior to BenefitMall, Slawter’s previous roles include Senior Vice President and Head of Distribution for Aetna and Vice President for Sales at Cigna.

As Chief Growth Officer, Slawter will be responsible for creating new partnerships, advising Peerfit on how to scale and manage their internal product, design and marketing departments, and helping to manage the sales team.
