Themed parties give foodies a chance to dress in fun costumes and jam to live music while enjoying award-winning fare
Beginning with an 80’s party on April 30, Chef Julien Gremaud’s passion for throwing amazing parties – all designed around spectacular food – will officially launch. Downtown West Palm Beach’s popular gathering spot, already known as the hottest destination in town for a South Florida Sunday, will up the ante on their award-winning brunch parties with new monthly themed brunches featuring unique music and costumes are encouraged.
On April 30 you’ll want to grab your black eyeliner and get ready to channel Madonna, Blondie, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Bon Jovi, Guns N’ Roses, The Cure, Tears for Fear… (the list is endless) for AG’s 1980’s brunch. Don’t be discouraged to eat while in those tight pants. Chef Gremaud will have plenty of light and fresh menu options to indulge in such as the Smoked Salmon Quinoa Salad with avocado, tomatoes, orange segment, tarragon vinaigrette served in avocado shells.
May 7 will be a Sunfest Party with plenty of music in honor of the bands coming to town like Weezer, Snoop Dogg, Steve Winwood, Loverboy, Tori Kelly and Ziggy Marley. Mother’s Day on May 14 th will be a little quieter on the music end, but Avocado Grill will have plenty of unique food specials for mom.
On Sunday, June 4 bikinis and board shorts (with shirts and sarongs, of course) are the costume of choice for the St. Tropez Beach Party. Father’s Day, June 18 th will feature lots of food specials for meat-loving men. (Ugly neck ties are welcome!) On July 16, you just might bump elbows with Wonder Woman, Spiderman or The Flash at the Super Hero Brunch. August 13, pull out your Daisy Duke short shorts for our Hillbilly/End of Summer Brunch. Finally, on September 24, fluff up your fro and dust the glitter off those bellbottoms and get ready to boogie down at our Studio 54 Brunch.
And while these theme parties are designed for one day only, Avocado Grill’s award-winning weekend brunch is always offered on Saturdays and Sundays. The restaurant serves lunch Monday through Friday and dinner seven nights a week. Happy Hour, highlighting the restaurant’s sophisticated collection of wine, beer, and signature libations, is available Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with two-for-one specialty drinks.
