Managing Partners Patricia Lebow and Mark Raymond Receive Professional Excellence Awards

Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel today announced that two of its South Florida managing partners Patricia Lebow and Mark Raymond have received Professional Excellence Awards from the Daily Business Review.

Lebow is one of just three attorneys in South Florida receiving a 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors those individuals who have had a notable career and made a significant impact on the practice of law in Florida.

Lebow was commended for having founded the West Palm Beach office of Broad and Cassel in 1983 and having represented clients with integrity over her 43-year career. In addition to her being honored for her achievements as a lawyer, Lebow was also credited with founding a 501(c)(3) public charity, Kids' Dreams, Inc., which assists economically underserved children in Palm Beach County with academic, athletic and cultural pursuits in conjunction with mentoring from law enforcement.

A longtime resident of the Town of Palm Beach, Lebow serves as the West Palm Beach office’s managing partner overseeing attorneys in various practice areas including litigation, real estate, intellectual property, labor and employment, corporate, and trust and estates law. Lebow is the recipient of numerous professional and community awards, including her recent induction into the Florida Legal Elite 2016 Hall of Fame and recognition as one of the "Top 50 Women Florida Super Lawyers" and "Top 100 Florida Super Lawyers" by Florida Super Lawyers magazine in 2016.

Raymond is receiving the Distinguished Leaders in Law award, which honors individuals who have achieved noteworthy results in the past year and demonstrated valuable leadership skills at the same time.

With more than 25 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, Raymond is highly regarded in the legal community for his ability to assist clients in addressing and extricating themselves from difficult and potentially costly situations, often without litigation. Since joining the firm more than 10 years ago, Raymond, as managing partner in Miami, has played an integral role in building the firm’s robust commercial litigation practice group, which now features more than 70 attorneys across nine offices. Under his leadership, the Miami office has grown significantly and positioned itself as one of the top firms in the region.

The recipient of numerous of awards, Raymond was recently named Miami “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation – Mergers and Acquisition by Best Lawyers, which has repeatedly honored Raymond for his commercial litigation expertise.
