BoardroomPR, one of Florida’s largest public relations and integrated marketing agencies, announced today that it has hired Jasmin Curtiss as a Public Relations Coordinator.
Prior to joining BoardroomPR, Curtiss interned at several agencies in Miami and Baltimore, where she assisted with events, ribbon cuttings and grand openings, pitched and secured trend stories and assisted with media hot-spots. She is a graduate of Loyola University Maryland and earned her degree in Communications, specializing in public relations, advertising and journalism.
During her time at Loyola, Curtiss worked at the campus television station filming, producing, hosting and editing television programs, as well as promoting through social media and campus events. She also helped with the fundraising, promotion and execution of the annual fashion show and was a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). The New York native’s resume also includes editorial experience from her time spent working to create a magazine for college students transitioning to adulthood, as well as her stint at a South Florida-based lifestyle magazine.
“When you work with a group of people who truly love what they do, it makes work that much more exciting,” said Curtiss. “’This is a special place.”
As a PR coordinator, Curtiss will work on different accounts including law, luxury real estate and non-profit. She will also work on event planning and execution, as well as social media for both BoardroomPR and its clients.
