3/12/17

Philip Fisher has been named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of USR Holdings, LLC and Amethyst Recovery Center, pending approval by the Florida Department of Children and Families. He will be taking over the executive leadership role previously filled by the founder, Ian Treacy. Following his due diligence, Mr. Fisher has simultaneously made a personal equity investment in the facility's holding company.

"The Board would like to express its gratitude to Mr. Treacy for the contributions he has made," said Samuel Kesaris, co-founder and Chief Financial Officer. "As the centers' patient population has grown, the Board felt that executive leadership with a different skill set was needed. Mr. Fisher's deep understanding of the rapidly evolving improvements in client care and outcome management positions him to further advance the facilities' focus on client care."

"Mr. Fisher's active participation in the recovery community, combined with his professional background in finance, including working with emerging growth companies, will help our facilities spread our care to a larger number of those afflicted by this disease," Mr. Kesaris said.

Prior to assuming his role as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Fisher spoke with more than 100 providers and visited more than 40, looking to partner with a growing provider with high ethical standards and strong quality of care. He is excited by the opportunity to help guide the future of USR Holdings and Amethyst Recovery Center.

"The work our centers do in caring for people with substance use and co-occurring disorders is very important to me," Mr. Fisher said. "Multiple generations of my family have suffered from these illnesses and in my new role I will continue to insure that value-added patient care and superior outcomes remain our paramount objectives. I am honored to have been selected to work with and lead the outstanding professionals and staff at Amethyst."

Amethyst Recovery Center provides individualized care for those suffering from substance use and co-occurring disorders. Amethyst is located in Port St. Lucie, Florida. It is a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers and is accredited by the Joint Commission.
