Ridge Road Capital Partners LLC, along with its principals, Adam Jiwan and Michael Mager, have acquired majority control of TrialWorks LLC, one of the leading providers of case management software for law firms in the US. The group is partnering with TrialWorks' founder Robb Steinberg, who will remain with the business full-time.
Ridge Road's Ryan Pakter will be appointed Managing Director of TrialWorks and will drive the growth plan for the business. Ridge Road intends to build upon the company's leading reputation in the industry. Under Pakter's management, TrialWorks plans to develop new vertical practice areas, improve automation for mass tort litigation practices, increase reporting alternatives, and make significant investments in both software innovation and sales and marketing.
Founder Robb Steinberg will become Head of Product and will remain focused on ensuring that TrialWorks' software retains its position as a leader in the industry by continuing to enhance functionality and ease of use – while ensuring continuity of culture and best-in-class customer service.
Steinberg commented on the transaction, "TrialWorks' case management software has been an enormously valuable efficiency tool for many of the country's top law firms.
