Miami Finance Forum Announces New Officers/Executive Board for 2017

The Miami Finance Forum(MFF), South Florida’s leading financial services networking organization, is pleased to announce the selection of the 2017 executive board which includes Gregory M. Santín as Chairman, Julie Neitzel as Vice Chairwoman, Jean-Pierre Trouillot as CFO/Treasurer, Raul A. Garcia as President, Casey Swercheck as Vice President, Carlos J. Deupi as Secretary, Nicholas Ferber as Chief Development Officer, and James Varnadoe as Advisory Board Chairman.

Together, the elected leadership team brings experience from various key sectors that will contribute toward the MFF’s mission of establishingMiami as South Florida’s global financial hub.

Santín isthe founder and principal of Santin Capital Partners, a commercial real estate banking intermediary focused on debt and equity placement and advisory services for real estate acquisitions and structured finance for all CRE asset classes. Greg is a commercial real estate and banking professional with over 24 years of transaction, business development, origination, portfolio management, structuring and restructuring experience for CRE, C&I and Private Banking loans.

Neitzel is a partner at WE Family Offices with more than 25 years of experience working extensively with entrepreneurs and wealthy families in areas including the acquisition and financing of closely-held businesses, real estate portfolio acquisition and management, investment capital management, estate planning, beneficiary mentoring and education.

Trouillot, a partner in the Miami office of KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice, specializes in mergers and acquisitions, due diligence and financial strategic consulting assignments.For over 20 years he has provided services to numerous buyout sponsors, lenders, venture capitalists, and other domestic and international clients of KPMG as they pursued acquisition targets and evaluated investment opportunities.

Garcia is a principal in the financial services practice at Kaufman Rossin.He leads both audit and tax engagements for clients predominantly in the investment industry including hedge funds, private equity funds, registered investment advisors, and broker-dealers.He has been featured in numerous publications including Forbes, Hedge Fund Law Report, Privateequity.net, and Latin Business Chronicle.

Swercheck is a Vice President at CapitalSouth Growth Fund and Capitala Investment Advisors. Capitala is a private equity investor and direct private lender focused on U.S. businesses in the lower-middle market. He has been a board member of Miami Finance Forum for three years and is also active on the boards of the Florida Venture Forum and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Deupiis a corporate and securities lawyer with more than 25 years of AmLaw 100 legal experience working for major U.S. law firms. He is the founder and Managing Partner of the Deupi Law Group, advising on general corporate, financing, commercial, transactional and compliance matters.

Ferber is the Managing Director atGreenlight Staffing Group. He has been a member of the Miami Finance Forum for the past nine years and has played a vital role in bringing high level people from Accounting, Finance, Law, and the Investment community together.

Varnadoe, Managing Director of KVR Trade Finance Fund, is responsible for the overall development, business management, operations and growth of the fund.He is a veteran in the private equity and venture capital industries through is experience as an investor, financial advisor and legal counsel.
