The Franchise Brokers Association (FBA) has announced the appointment of Paul Segreto as president. In this role, he will be responsible for leading the organization through a series of strategic initiatives that focus on the education and training, business support and public and industry awareness for new and current franchise sales professionals.

Segreto, who has 34 years of franchise experience, also serves as the CEO for Franchise Foundry, a strategic partner of the FBA. Franchise Foundry is a leading franchise development company that works with emerging brands to accelerate their growth. He has been in this position for five years and since joining the company has helped Franchise Foundry bring on more than 500 franchise units domestically and internationally across multiple brands.

Segreto has also worked as a franchise industry consultant, senior level corporate executive and a multi-unit franchisee and area developer. In addition to his professional experience he holds many industry certifications, including Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) from the International Franchise Association.

“Paul’s specialized work with emerging brands and social media technology make him a valuable addition to the FBA,” said Sabrina Wall, CEO of FBA. “I believe he has the skills, experience and personality to take us to the next level.”

According to Segreto, joining the FBA, was an easy decision for him. “I met Sabrina Wall a few years ago and liked what I saw in her vision for the organization,” he said. “I knew I needed to get involved with the FBA; if for nothing more than helping to educate brokers and those entering the field. I also wanted to elevate the status and performance of brokers throughout franchising and this position allows me to that.”
