Luxury project allows owners to manage rentals, provide virtual keys to guests through smartphones

Newgard Development Group’s Gale Residences Fort Lauderdale Beach is incorporating cutting-edge technology into the luxury residential condominium project by launching a mobile app for the exclusive use of Gale owners and residents.
The new app is another key differentiator for the Gale in a competitive Fort Lauderdale Beach residential market. It takes existing mobile access infrastructure to a new level and introducing features that are exclusive to the 129-residence project at 2900 Riomar Street.
Examples include the ability of Gale owners who take advantage of the project’s flexible rental program to manage their guest bookings and provide virtual unit keys through the app.
Owners can even specify the hours or days a guest can have access to their units. Gale owners and residents can also use the app to request hotel services, order packages, reserve various amenities and call for car service.
Unified Technology Group is the developer of the app through its Vertilinc Live! platform. VingCard is supplying the access hardware and software. The app is integrated with the hardware and software to allow the virtual keys to be sent and received.

One, two and three-bedroom residences at the 12-story building residences range from 800 to 2,100 square feet. Prices start in the $400,000s.

ONE Sotheby’s International Realty is handling sales at the Gale Residences. Acclaimed architectural firm Garcia Stromberg designed the residential building, while Miami Beach design firm Urban Robot Associates is the project’s interior designer.
