Florida public relations and digital media firm Schwartz Media Strategies has elevated longtime member Yudi Fernandez to the role of Vice President. The promotion of Fernandez coincides with the addition of marquis clients in the sectors driving Florida’s economy, with emphasis on law and professional services, commercial and residential real estate, finance, hospitality and public affairs.
Cuban-born and Miami-raised, Fernandez joined the firm in 2011 following her tenure as a real estate and business reporter. Since then, Fernandez has led bilingual public relations and marketing campaigns on behalf of clients including JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle), Skanska USA, Apollo Bank, Pipeline Workspaces, Atton Hotels and CREW-Miami (Commercial Real Estate Women).

Fernandez is active in the Miami community, serving as a member of the PRSA Miami Chapter and on the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Real Estate committee. She is an alumni of the Chamber’s Leadership Miami program. Fernandez volunteers at the Young Women’s Prep academy and is a member of Switchboard of Miami’s Women’s Leadership Council. She earned a master’s degree in business administration at Nova Southeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and business at the University of Florida. She is a downtown Miami resident.
