Plaza Construction hired Edwin Sankey as a Project Executive in its Southeast Regional office located in Miami. A 30-year veteran of the construction industry, Mr. Sankey is responsible for all project phases from preconstruction through construction closeout, and provides leadership related to risk management and construction operations. He is currently assigned to the 62-story One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid Architects, now under construction in downtown Miami. A Florida Certified General Contractor and a Professional Engineer, Mr. Sankey earned a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron College of Law.

Having constructed a myriad of large multi-family residential, commercial mixed-use, and hospitality projects, Mr. Sankey brings significant in-depth experience to Plaza Construction. “Edwin Sankey’s expertise and depth of knowledge will prove to be major assets to Plaza Construction, and we look forward to his many contributions,” said Brad Meltzer, President of Plaza Construction’s Southeast Region.
